Hello dear readers,
Today I'd like to introduce myself. Many of you may remember me from the old days... Back then, I was very quaint, rustic, and charming. Without electricity and made of weathered wood.
After many years on my lush green meadow at the nearby Passo Mendola and filled with a variety of experiences, one winter the weight of the snow became too much for me, and my walls and roof could no longer withstand it. But the Gius-Vorhauser family immediately took action and had a vision. I was going to be as unique as all the elements of the GIUS world, yet at the same time a symbiosis of everything. Comfortable, like the suites at GIUS La Residenza, playful like GIUS Miniglück, and elegant like GIUS Nonnaglück. Here, the contrast is alive: lush green outside and a mix of natural wood, black, blue, and red accents on the inside.
I think I've done great. I now nestle up on my hill among the trees at the nearby edge of the forest – oh, how wonderful this peace and quiet is! If you slide open the wooden shutters, I delight with large panoramic windows that make forest bathing a treat for the soul from every corner of the living area.
Cuddled up by the cozy, warm tiled stove, reading a good book, sipping from your teacup, and watching a family of deer outside the window. Time out at my place can be so wonderful!
Of course, since my complete renovation, I've offered a number of comforts I never dreamed of! I now have a fully equipped kitchen with an espresso machine, refrigerator, stovetop, and oven. In the bedroom, a solid wood double bed awaits cozy hours, and in the basement, I even have my own sauna with a relaxation area! If four of you are visiting me, two people can also stay overnight downstairs – but only after you've tried out the XXL barbecue that was made just for me by a local blacksmith!
